Letter of reference regarding Mr. Gregg Kanagy
From Mr. Vance S. Varner. Mr. Varner served as Principal at Lewistown Area High School, and is a former FBI agent and a PA Teacher of the Year.
…I have known Mr. Kanagy professionally for the past 9 years. He has been the head soccer coach at Lewistown Area High School at which I am the principal; therefore, I can comment about his professionalism, leadership abilities and character.
Greg Kanagy is a true man of character. He has always been a positive role model to the students and athletes of Lewistown Area High School. He is one to step up and help out during a time of need. Two years ago we had a senior at our school lose his life in a traffic accident during the school year. Greg Kanagy was a huge asset in helping comfort our grieving students.
In the 9 years I have worked with Greg—he has not once disappointed me in any way. If I was ever in need of a person of strong moral values and strong character—he is the one I would call without any hesitation…
